One of the perks of blogging is that from time to time companies will contact me ask me to review a product and share it with you. I am inclined to do so if it is something I think would bless my family and you as well. One company that I have the honor of working with is Tyndale. They produce top faith filled products for the entire family. A product I have had my eyes on, but never had the chance to check out, is Adventures in Oydssey. So when Tyndale asked me to take a listen to this amazing audio series I jumped at the chance.
Here is what the Tyndale website says about this latest installment of AIO:
It’s all-new Adventures in Odyssey episodes in volume 52, Cause & Effect. Join Eugene and Matthew as they investigate why the clock tower at City Hall seems to be counting down to a mysterious deadline. Could it have something to do with the anniversary of a lost love from twenty years ago? Barrett couldn’t be more excited about getting the lead role in the school play. But when his first practice is interrupted by a mysterious booming voice, Emily Jones must investigate the “phantom of the school play.” Also, perfect for the holiday season, are stories on Thanksgiving (“A Thankstaking Story”) and Christmas (“Grandma’s Christmas Visit”).
Adventures in Odyssey is fun and exciting audio entertainment that teaches quality character traits and ignites the imagination of all who listen. Imagine, Discover, and Grow with Adventures in Odyssey.
Here is what my girls had to say:
I liked the story because it was a mystery. And it was easy to imagine what the characters were doing. (7 years)
It had a good combination of secular and sacred but everything pointed to God. (11 years going on 20)
Here is what I have to say:
I think this CD set would make a great stocking stuffer for the kids on your Christmas list. I love that it gives kids a chance to practice their listening skills and use their creativity. It is also the perfect item to gift them before the car ride to Grandma’s house! Five hours of listening goodness, my friends, may give you and your husband a chance to have a real conversation! One of my very wise friends likes to wrap up several gifts and present them at stops along the way during long car rides. Love that idea too!
Guess what? The wonderful people at Tyndale are you giving you a chance to WIN a copy of AIO Cause and Effect. Leave me a comment and tell me if you have any AIO audio sets or what kid on your Christmas list would find this stuffed in his/her stocking if you were to win! Feel free to share this on Facebook or you can follow @tyndale on twitter and tweet the following:

My six year old daughter would love this. We don’t have any AIO products yet, though they sometimes play on Sunday mornings on the radio. She loves it. Thanks, Stacey.
Oh and I retweeted your tweet. 🙂
Wow – my sons (7, 5, 2) would love those. We listen to books on CD ALL the time and they love it…..the car rides are so quiet and peaceful! I’ve heard about Odyssey for a long time – highly recommended – so I’d love to actually own some of their products!
Oh my goodness, my girls LOVE Adventures in Odyssey!! LOVE THEM!! My oldest is 18 and still likes to listen to them (O.K., so do I sometimes). I love that my girls have grown up listening to these high-quality, inspirational, moral stories. Can’t speak highly enough of them.
(P.S. I know I probably can’t win this since I just won the book. Give the CDs to someone else if my name comes up again.) 🙂
Oh my goodness! I love AIO!! My sister and I used to listen every afternoon at 4:00 =) We don’t own any sets yet, but as Timmy gets older, I’d love to have some for our weekly hr trips to the “big city” =)
I am a Grandma to some little girls who would love to listen to AIO as they travel to my house. They are 10 and 8 years old. And there is a little brother, age 5. I often listen to AIO on Sunday mornings as we are getting ready for church. Very enjoyable!
I would love to win this, because I think my 8 y.o. daughter would LOVE this in her stocking. I’ve heard of these, but we’ve never owned any. Yay for stories with meaning.
And that 11 y.o. of yours? Wow. Impressive.
Too cool! It sounds like something my six-year-old son would love. We just tried a book on CD for the first time this month, and he was amazed at how his mind filled in the pictures for him without needing to look at pictures in a book. 😉 Thanks for sharing about this great AIO stocking stuffer!
Pooh, I love AIO! Don’t have any sets yet, but would LOVE to stick one in my oldest son’s stocking! 🙂 thanks for the great giveaway, Stacey!
Hahaha… my iPad changed “oooh” to “pooh” (gotta watch that!) LOL
Oh, and I tweeted! 🙂
Years ago we had a set of AIO tapes an we wore those things out! All of my kids would like them but I would probably give them to Mattie, age 7, because I haven’t figured out what to give him this year. This would be a real blessing.
AIO are a huge hit here! My two older children have grown up listening to them on the radio. With now having our little guy, I’m sure AIO will remain in our house for years to come. What a treat it would be for the entire family to have this installment!
Thanks for such a fun giveaway.
We don’t have any AIO DVD’s. My three grandsons, who are six, eight, and ten years old would love them! Thank you!
My kiddos would love these! We have a couple but have listened to them over and over…we need some new stories!
