What’s in the Bible? is a new DVD series from VeggieTales creator Phil Vischer designed to walk kids and families through the entire Bible.  In DVD #5, Buck Denver and cast take us through 1 and 2 Samuel where you meet a would be king, learn about the Trinity, focus on God’s promises and look at the consequences of sin. Think Saturday morning cartoon fun meets Sunday School 101. If your kids are like mine, they will love this series! {to view the trailer of this video, click here}

Here is what my girls are saying:

Emma {age 11}:  I love What’s In The Bible? because it is really funny and you learn a lot about the Bible at the same time.  Even though I’m 11, I love it.  I think other kids my age will like it because they talk about stuff we know like Star Wars.  My favorite character is Michael because he dreams the impossible and has a very clear plan on how to get it done.

Abby {age 8}:   I’m wearing my WITHB pin today, so everyone will know I love What’s In The Bible?.  My favorite character is Marci, because she is kind of like me.

I am excited to partner with Tyndale and What’s In The Bible? as a new Street Team Member.  This means, I will be reviewing their **new products and giving you a chance to win them.  I love their passion to teach kids God’s Word.  Plus, I earned cool points with my kids!  It is a win/win partnership!

Who is Phil Vischer? : In 1990, 24-year-old computer animator Phil Vischer sat down to create a group of characters that could teach Christian values to kids in a delightfully weird way. Hence, a tomato named Bob and a cucumber named Larry were born. VeggieTales would go on to revolutionize Christian filmmaking, selling more than 50 million videos and placing Phil’s faith-filled stories in one in every three American households with young children. His company, Jellyfish Labs, provides faith-based daily programming via the Internet at jellytelly.com.  Phil lives with his wife, Lisa, and their three kids in Illinois.

** As a WITB Street Team Member, I received a free DVD #5 for the purpose of review.
