Loft Style :: Something Old, Something New
I love Ann Taylor Loft and have shopped there for years. One reason, is that they have a great petite section for those of us who are height challenged. My favorite black pants came from there! So here are a couple things I wore this week from ATL – something old and something new:
Left :: Something Old – the yellow top is from ATL many years ago. I love the color and the unique cut. I decided to layer it with a white ribbed tank top because I like a longer length these days.
Right :: Something New – Last week, I sacrificed my white blouse for the sake of theater. My oldest needed a costume, and lets just say we added some lace. I was looking for a replacement and found this cute and trendy white tunic style top on my 17th Wedding Anniversary. I want to get a wider belt, but the thin woven one worked fine!

Now it is your turn! Where do you love to shop? Do you have something old and something new that you love from that store? I am linking up with Lindsey and the WIWW girls today. You can also find me @MODSquad Blog today talking about one of my favorite topics, prayer! Thanks for stopping by!
Ooo it’s Wednesday already? Oy!
Ok, I’ve been curious…what’s the story behind the title of your blog?
This is the address of the home I grew up in. I wanted my blog to feel like home, a place for women to come, be encouraged and talk about the stuff of life! (you can read more on my “About” page on this!)
Happy Wednesday Tay!
🙂 so funny! I guess you could say my legs are short. I might not look “petite” but pants are always long on me! Also, some shirts have waists that are too long. My grandma, was about 4’9″. I am a little more blessed than she was! My girls are going to be taller, I’m so thankful!
LOVE the yellow! Love love love it!!!
I know – I need more color in my wardrobe! Jumping over to your post now!
I used to work at ATL while I was in college – it’s a great store and you look great!!
I worked at Bath and Body Works…another one of my faves! Thanks for stopping by today!

You made me smile…because I generally have some sort of ‘kid’ goo on my shirt! Season of life! We will miss it some day I know!

Oh man I know what you mean about the length on older shirts! I LOVE being able to fit into something I wore a LONG time ago, but those shirts always feel so SHORT! I can’t imagine that I ever wore shirts that short! lol Maybe I grew some in my upper body in my old age 😉
