I have 4 kids.
Ages 21 months to almost 12 years.
Sometimes it is easier to just stay home.
Stick to the plan.
Hunker down in routine.
In fact, I like it there. Home. Safe. Easy. (Well, not really easy, but predictable.)

But, this week I realized that there is one thing missing from that.
Adventure.
The type where you get your feet dirty, blow your diet and explore the unknown.
An adventure that may require something like 4 straight days in a minivan with those same 4 kids to catch a glimpse of Amazing....
Safe is fine. I’m all for it. But every once in a great while…you have to do amazing.

Question: Are you stuck in safe? Are you ready for adventure?

{linking up with Michelle for Thought Provoking Thursday!}
It is so much easier to stay home and play it safe. But I know that if I am willing to put a little work in and say “yes” to the adventure that I will be blessed! I too think it’s time for an adventure.
Be sure to take someone you love along – it is so much better to have an adventure with a friend! 🙂
Baby steps are fine Jamie! I’m cheering you on!
Yes, I’ve been stuck in safe for a very long time now and I’m ready for an adventure as long as it looks as good as yours up there! Such an amazing picture!
I’ll choose adventure every day! 🙂 Good for you!!
Yes you do with a name like “Wonder Woman!” I love it Heidi!
I like the safe. I like my tea, my chair and my bed. I could stay here forever. I have to be pushed out of the nest but once I am I’m ready for adventure. I enjoy the adventure but in the back of my mind the whole time are the thoughts of “it’s almost over then I can get back home.” I’m trying to be more intentional about mingling and adventuring…this post will give me a push.
I was thinking of being home safe and snug the whole time. Thanks for stopping by and saying that!
