I’m pretending you are here, with your cozy sweaters, Friday night football games, and thermos bottles full of hot chocolate. I miss you most of all.
If I close my eyes real tight I can imagine the drive down 46, from Bloomington to Brown County. The leaves are just starting to dress for the season and the sun is a soft golden yellow. With every twist and turn, I am reminded that the Artist is always at work.
So, even though it was in the 90’s today, I’m scattering fake leaves, putting out dishes of candy corn, and easing my pain with Salted Carmel Mochas. They are only slightly better than thermos warm Swiss Miss. Ok, they are A LOT better.
But, still, I’m missing you. I may even buy some boots to wear with my shorts. I hear that is in style these days. On second thought, that may not be the best idea.
Sigh….wish you were here.
Please come visit us here, FALL is here!!! Warm shirts, warm drink and harvesting 🙂
Oh how love harvest time!!! Enjoy my friend!
Oh how I wish I lived where there was an actual fall. We don’t quite get that season in Arizona. Today it is forecasted to be 104! I dearly miss it!
But, I too have started decorating like it is. Sometimes we just have to bring the season to us. Have a wonderful day!
Brenda I so agree! Have fun!
I wish fall would come and stay, too! I don’t even know how to dress my girls for school….it starts out chilly and ends up so warm! But I am dealing with the confusion with Pumpkin Spice Latte therapy!
I have pulled out all my fall stuff too!! Oh and I just had to say that I had my first salted caramel mocha from Starbucks the other day and thought I had died and gone to heaven. Oh my. I totally wasn’t expecting that, I wasn’t even sure if I would like it!! Ha!!
Wasn’t that first sip divine? Mmmm…..
{Friday I’ll have a Fall Wreath {un} tutorial. Hope you stop by!!!}
