Really? This makes people do crazy things?
Source: target.com Pinterest
I want to understand the mad love for this, but I don’t. I don’t understand the mile long lines, the people stampede, and all the fuss. I mean it is colorful, but is it worth crazy? Another thing I really don’t understand is why these adorable boots:
…won’t fit over my calves! Really? Are they that large? Or do you have to be 12 to wear them? Which reminds me.
I wore this, this and this. All stuff I’ve worn before. None of it crazy fashion forward.
So maybe, I won’t ever really understand high fashion.
I think, I’m ok with that!
*{Happy Wednesday!}*
Question: What did you wear this week?
What would you stand in line to buy?
(my first thought was Cheesecake or Mudpie Mojo)
Hmm…I might stand in line for FREE cheesecake, especially if it was Godiva Chocolate Cheesecake from the Cheesecake Factory. Or a FREE iPad. But, I guess I can just keep on dreaming! 🙂
Awesome.
Although the missoni stuff reminds me of Aisle to Aloha’s zigzag paintings… 🙂
Hmm…I had very similar thoughts about Missoni. Can’t believe how quickly it was wiped out! I liked the ballet flats and a scarf but seriously people?!
And I really, really love that middle top on you! So classy!
…but seriously people??? 🙂
Yes the top in the middle is Target – Converse brand. But it was clearance, and no lines that day!
And this is just one more reason I adore you … because I would totally stand in line for cheesecake LONG before I’d stand in line for clothes!! 🙂
{smiles and agrees 100%}
I love the shirt in the middle picture, it’s adorable!!!
Pinterest is great to view what you would like to wear, drool of cute outfit all without the downside of shopping. I hate trying on clothes because I think that my post pregnancy body is odd or something I can seams to fit in anyhting at all… either the clothes are too tight or too loose, NOTHING seams to fit just right!!!
I think I should practice my sewing skills to be able to make my own clothes, having it custom made would solve the “never fitting just right” problem hehe!
I {heart} Pinterest! It has replaced my notebook that I put my magazine clippings in for “dreaming”.
You enjoy that sweet baby – there will be time for new clothes and such – but stay in your jammies and cuddle that little one! My youngest will be 2 soon, and I miss her being so little!
Hi Stacy. I bought that Missoni dress and keep trying it on and taking pictures to decide if i am going to keep it. I bought the dress, a sweater, and shoes. It was a bit price-y for my taste especially since I buy a majority of my clothes at Target. Would it be worth the stampede craze or paying crazy prices for it on Ebay, no way. But since my Target was not a mob scene, and I was able to buy the dress without any drama, I have to say that I love it. The sweater may go back though. I’m not real fashion forward, tops and jeans, and the occasional dress thrown in so the Missoni clothes were a stretch for me. I think it’s fun and different.
I am so glad your Target people were not crazy! Can you believe some people duked it out for that same dress? Love that – bought the dress without drama! 🙂 I do love the colors, and when I looked at the line, and my own closet I thought, “Wow, I must be afraid of pattern!” I’m taking baby steps in that area! I would love to see a picture of the dress!
Oooh, LOVE the middle one!
Target. Yep. Converse brand!!!
Love this. I said to my husband the other day, “I don’t GET this whole Missoni thing.”
Glad I am not alone. 🙂
I have the same problem with boots and skinny jeans. God made my legs too curvy for all that cute stuff. Oh, well!
I’m still hoping to find some “larger” mouth (?) boots….I have not given up hope yet!
I’d stand in line for a free cup of really good coffee. Actually, I’d stand in line to pay for a really good cup of coffee but would I crash a website for a shirt? Nope.
Mmmm….coffee!!!
I Love your style!!! It is so much like my own. That’s why I always look forward to your Wednesday posts. I don’t get all the fashion hype. And when I try to dress in the current trendy clothes, I feel goofy!!
Hope you’re having a good week!!
I guess that makes us classic girls — I hear that is how Jennifer Anniston’s style is described. Not bad company?? Thanks for stopping by!
stacey, i am *so* with you on the missoni thing. i think it is so. incredibly. ugly.
and my calves? never fit in boots. i may be a bit chubbier than i should be, but my calves are not chubby–so my question is–who are they making these boots for??
I know!!! I may have to resort to short boots. Thanks for stopping by this way!
