31 Days {Day 16} :: Chosen

Chosen. Selected. Preferred. First. From the beginning.

That is who you are.  See, it was His plan from the start.  He picked you, to reveal His Word to.  He wanted you.  It wasn’t anything you did – because you weren’t yet.  It wasn’t something you said – only The Word had said anything at that point. It wasn’t your cute new boots. Although, they are awesome.
No, from the beginning He chose you, set you apart, and wrote His name on your heart. This is the truth that washes over us and we say, “Really, you chose me?” We can believe it because it is written…
God picked you out as his from the very start. (2 Thessalonians 2:13 The Message)
What would your day look like if you did, believe it? If you lived Chosen?  If you understood “His” from the very start?  How would you act?  I’ll bet those awesome boots would glide across the floor swept up in a dance that says, “Me!  He chose me.”

    Oh girl, my heart is found here so often. Matter of fact, I am writing a post for my other site, 5 Mintues for Faith tonight and the title is “Pick Me”! All too often I forget that I am chosen by God, simply because. Thank you for confirming what I already was working through in my heart today!

    How did you know I just bought cute new boots? 😉 once again exactly what I needed to hear from God this morning. Particularly as I am prayerfully working on having the correct heart posture for Relevant.

      You know that is such a great idea. When we live chosen, we do not need to covet what our neighbor — or other bloggers have! We are His and that is more than enough! Looking forward to meeting you Heather!
