You are free…
from worry
from should
to live, really live
to dream
to just be
to love extravagantly
to eat chocolate
Because it was for freedom that He set you free in the first place. (Galatians 5:1) You were made for it. Nothing less will do for you, girl. So don’t go back. Don’t turn it down. Don’t let go of His hand. I can promise you, He wants you to know how it feels, how it looks, and how freedom can transform your life.
I’m right here with you. Throughout this 31 day journey, I have asked quietly in the depths of my heart, “Lord, is this for me, too? The tired of doing girl. The one who needs constant reminders to run back to Your Word and your Ways? Is it for me, too?”
He has said, yes in so many ways. And guess what? 31 Days of What God Wants you to Know is just the tip of the iceberg. There is more He wants to whisper into our hearts. So much more than you or I can imagine.
I’m praying for you. Close your eyes. Breathe. Can you feel it? That’s freedom. That’s Jesus.
That’s 31 Days of What God Wants you to Know.

Thank you so much Stacey for doing this series. Although I wasn’t able to comment on every post, when I did visit, I felt like the post was speaking directly to me in many ways. I loved yoru Day 7 post, “Beautiful Girl”, as I don’t often see myself that way. Loved your Day 14 post about rememberin to dream! On Day 16, I received confirmation that He not only chose me. These are just a few of the posts that really spoke to my heart. Thank you for your obedience to the Lord in writing this series.
Barbie – I have been so blessed by each sweet God honoring comment you have spoken. Thank you for being here with me every day! You bless my life friend!
Every single post was so amazing! I so loved reading every one of them and each one spoke directly into my heart!! Thank you for constantly reminding me of God’s love for me, Stacey!
Tay – you are such an encourager! I pray that these truths will dig down deep in your heart!
I have started out every morning the month of October by leaning in & listening to what God has been saying to me – just me. It has been refreshing to my needy soul. I think one of my favorites is from day 15 “He is praying for you”. What? HIM? Praying for ME? That kind of love…my little mind cannot comprehend. Thank you Stacey, for this entire month of allowing God to speak His love through you, to us. You have blessed me so.
He prays for us? I mean can you believe that our names are constantly on His lips? Oh that is one of my favorites, too. It is too much to think about! Cami, you have been such a sweet friend here each day. My heart is full and I am so glad you have been refreshed. Thank you for walking on this journey with me, with us. 🙂
I’ve so enjoyed this journey with you. It was simple, sweet, truth-filled, and transforming. Always a place of refreshment and warm comfort. Thanks so much!
Thank you Lisa for being so sweet and encouraging every day! I am the one who has been blessed!
I have been following along all month and so appreciate the journey God has taken me on through your writing. I don’t know that I can choose a favorite as they all spoke something different to me that I needed to here. Thank you for allowing your life and your writing to reflect the heart of your Father. Many blessings to you!
So wonderfully delightful to meet you in person at Relevant. Now I am going to go back and read your 31 Days series!!
Oh it was wonderful wasn’t it? Hope you are recovering well! Love that we were able to meet inRL!
This is beautiful! Just beautiful. I’m breathing. I’m relaxed. I’m at rest. I’ll be reading more of your 31 days. Thanks friend and so-journer on this 31 days.
Doesn’t that freedom do wonders for your heart? Love it!
These 31 days were simply amazing. They helped me see a whole different side to the Lord. Something that in my 33 years of life I hadnt felt. The past 3 months for me have been beyond overwhelming and your blog has enlightened me to a new renewed faith in the Lord. Something simply AMAZING. I continue to pray that the Lord enlighten my husband and myself as we walk through this path of forgiveness and in trying to give our marriage another try. I have faith that the Lord is working on bigger better things for us as a family and when my faith isnt as strong as I would like I turn to prayer and for the first time in almost 9 years my husband too has turned to prayer. I have faith that this too shall pass and that FOR THE LORD NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE. Thank you for helping so many of us understand that.
Sonia
Sonia this testimony is beautiful. I’m praying for you and your husband! You are right– nothing is impossible with God! Thank you so much for sharing here today. Many will be blessed by your words!
Nice to meet a fellow 31-Dayer and a Relevant alum too! I don’t know about you, but God used BOTH to just radically change and rip through me in all the best ways possible.
I love this post – I am free — from worry, from should….
Amazing!!
Oh me too, Lindsey. 31 days was a great journey for me and to end the month at Relevant, what a gift. There is so much in my heart right now I can’t even begin to process it all!
Hi Stacey,
I just finished this series (missed a few days due to travel) and I wanted to say “Thank you” for a beautiful and well-written series. Every day was the perfect little bite-sized nugget of something for me to chew on throughout the day. I found this series at a time when I really needed to know what God thought of me. I am slowly coming to the realization that God desires a relationship with me. Not a servant-master relationship but a father-daughter relationship. Some days it is difficult to remember that I am not required to fill in all the check boxes before I can kneel at the feet of God and seek from the throne of Grace.
I want to remember these things so I am planning on writing down the verses you referenced from each day and memorize them.
My favorite days:
Day 5 – There’s a Fountain Flowing – I loved the image of the wide ocean of God’s love flowing all around me
Day 12 – 20/20 – I was feeling invisible that day – Oh that the Creator of the universe sees me!
Day 13 – Trading in Your Burdens – I love that song
Day 14 – Your Dreams Matter – So encouraging, especially when I am feeling invisible
Day 21 – Your Legacy Is Worth It – Sometimes it feels like I am the only one trying to instill God’s values in my kids – it can get discouraging. Good to remember that my legacy is worth it.
Day 22 – Yes, I’m Here Margaret – I love, love, love the image of God reclining down to listen to me
Day 24 – From Start to Finish – I am thankful that He sees the big, final picture that probably looks better than it does from my perspective
Day 29 – The Answer Is Yes Unless No Is Required – He wants to bless me! Now that brings a smile to my face and reminds me to enjoy all the good things in my life.
Than you!
Jess – you have greatly blessed me by your sweet encouragements! I am honored that you would read the 31 days here. God is so good! I wanted to let you know, my plan is to put the 31 days into a PDF printable. I’m hoping to work on that this weekend and God willing have it done by Christmas! That would be my gift to you! So stay tuned, and hopefully it will be done soon! Praying for you, that those verses dig down deep in your heart. He loves you so much.
Just finished day 31 this morn. Wow, it feels so good to commit to something and follow thru! Stacey, thanks for your thoughts and wisdom. I thoroughly enjoyed day 24 when you reminded me that God is committed to me. I mean, I’m a mess. I’m really a mess! ( I can totally relate.) What would you suggest for my next 31 days???
I am so glad you were blessed Christie! I am working on putting this into an ebook, so you can have everything all in once place. As for where to go next, I loved Emily Freemans “31 Days of Grace” from 2010. I think you will too! Here is the link: http://www.chattingatthesky.com/31-days-of-grace/
