I found the sweetest note on my nightstand last week from one of my girls. I asked her about it, and she said, “When you get tired or overwhelmed, you can read it and know how awesome you are. It is a good thing for me, that a lot of the great stuff you do, rhymes.” {insert heart melting right here}
How do you top that? Well, how about words like….
chosen
redeemed
blameless
forgiven
lavished with grace
They are straight from the heart of God, written to you and me, and found in Ephesians Chapter 1. I’m chatting about them over at the Good Morning Girls site today, would you care to join me? Just click the button below.
I cherish every note my children have given me, that tell the truth about who I am. Those words in black and white, they are hard for me to wrap my brain around most days.
They are just too precious aren’t they?
Jealous. Wish I had a note like that! 🙂 Well, I do from my heavenly Father!
It was from my Abby. She is so sweet! I’ll bet she would write you one too!
I love notes from the grand children they are precious to me. My box is full of them.
Beautiful thoughts from a wonderful book . . . came here from your “chosen-forgiven-blameless-blessed-redeemed-lavished w/grace” post via Mom’s Mustard Seeds. Feeding on this all through the day. Thank you!
Lovely to meet you Gloria! Praying those words sink down deep!
Oh the love! So beautiful. Heaven whispers….
How cool! I’m reading Ephesians 1 right now. Verse 11 started me reading it. What a sweet letter from your daughter. Handwritten notes and letters are the best.
