“The goal is not to get through the Bible. The goal is to get the Bible through us.” — Mark Batterson
As I have been reading the Bible in 90 Days this summer, I have been sharing what I’m learning with my girls. Last week before bed, I was telling them about the prophet Elijah and how God answered Him with fire and defeated the prophets of Baal. My girls interrupted me and finished the story. They had learned it and remembered it from watching a What’s In The Bible dvd.
As a mother, this is one of my greatest prayers for my kids. I want God’s Word to be written on their hearts. (–> click to tweet)
If you are like me, you want to use everything you can to see that this happens. I talk to my kids about God’s Word. We read it. I take them to church and Sunday School. I’m so blessed by the countless teachers who have poured their lives into my kids. When I came across this DVD series I knew it was special. Their goal is to come alongside you as a parent and give kids a deeper understanding of God’s Word in a fun way. What they watch and hear, they learn. And to be honest, while I’m doing dishes in the kitchen, I’m listening and learning right alongs side them. Thanks to the Bentley Brothers, I was able to pronounce the Judges names perfectly.
A couple of weeks ago, What’s in the Bible released DVD #8 on The Writings: Job – Song of Solomon. My girls, once again, loved it. I was thrilled with their handling of these books.
It gives a very good description of how to read the writings and understand the wording and still get the message. — my 12 year old.
I can’t think of a better way to spend the summer than getting God’s Word through all our hearts. Can you?

*What’s In The Bible provided me with a digital copy of this dvd for the purpose of review. I promise you all opinions are my own.
My children knowing God’s word has always been the desire of my heart! I have one of those DVD’s that we got from the Relevant conference last year. Colt who’s 10 months old loves it!! It’s so sweet!
Have a great day!

We have 2 in this series. It is one of (if not THE) the best kids bible series I’ve seen. Kids love them, I enjoy them, they are just really thoughtfully done. I hope to own them all some day.
