Mark 14:6″ She has done a beautiful thing to me. .. She did what she could.”
What does He ask of me?
He only asks of me to do what I can do. And what can I do?
- I can love my family.
- I can teach my kids.
- I can pray.
- I can study God’s Word.
- I can encourage women.
- I can use my words to point to Him.
- I can offer my song to Him and only Him.
So many times I think He is asking me to do more than I can – that is not my job.
That is His.

Lord,
You are the one that takes my offering and multiplies it.
You make it glorious by your might.
Today I humbly offer what I can – I’m a weary mom who is pouring out her life.
I pray you are pleased with my offering.
Lord it is yours.
Amen
Stacy, nice to check out your fun blog today! I like it:)
Thank you Ginger! Have wonderful weekend!
I couldn’t agree more, but I needed to read your words today to remind me. Thanks, Stacey!
I am learning that I can’t do everything, or be all things to all people. It’s been hard letting go. For me, it’s about focusing on the most important — husband, family, GOD and from there He will lead me.
I love what you wrote today! There are times when I try to compare myself to others and think that I should be doing what they are accomplishing. Your post reminded me to be content where I’m at, with the abilities and loves that I have and point to Him. He doesn’t ask anything else of me, so neither should I.
