Happy 2013 friends! Have I said that already? Well, let’s just say it again! Happy 2013! It feels like a major accomplishment to be here in this new year. Does that make any sense to anyone else but me? Maybe, I just need an extra cup of coffee today. Of course I do, what am I saying!
One thing I’m wearing going into the new year is about 10 extra pounds. I’m not happy about this, and I’ve started slowly getting back on track. I’m counting calories (boring but necessary) with the My Fitness Pal app and I’m back hanging out with Leslie Sansome and walk, walk, walking about 4x’s per week. I feel better already.
What have I been wearing recently? It has been awhile so I thought I start here:
This is me at the store that makes me want to hyperventilate. It is a store I will probably frequent for the next 10 years. It is called Justice. Every pre-teen girl loves it (well they all do for a period of time). Every mother wants to run from it. Still, we love to make our girls happy, and we go, willingly. I went on my daughter’s 10th birthday with her bff. We had fun. Honestly, we did.
Sweater: Black Cardiagan (Target)
T-shirt: White v-neck (Target)
Jeans: Skinny (American Eagle)
Flower: From my girl Heather
Left: White shirt and tank (H&M), Jeans: Gap
Center: Orange Caridgan (Loft), T-shirt (Mercy House), Jeans (CAbi)
Right: Navy Tunic (Loft), Tank (H&M), Jeans (A&E)
I hope you have a fabulous week. Next week I’ll tell you about the amazing boots I got for Christmas that I can’t wear because I have a “wide shaft.” True story.

As you know, I love this series!! I do not have a girl, but I have been to Justice and I understand the hyperventilation! It makes me dizzy…but I go with some girls I love!!
So glad this is back. I love your hair pulled half back/half down (in the first picture). You should wear it like that more often. I feel your pain on the wide shaft…you know I do.
This will forever bond us. For real.
Super super love that middle outfit! The orange is divine! And you shine in white! Love it, beautiful lady!
Ahh, you are so sweet!
You had me laughing about Justice. I managed to avoid it for years, as my mom took the girls there. Fortunately, 2 are outgrown already, so my years in there are short lived. Praise the Lord!
You look cute, as always, and I can’t see an extra 10 pounds anywhere!
Thanks for understanding about Justice. So funny. They know what pre-teens like and we work with it as best we can!
(and what a sweet comment about my extra 10lbs! thanks!)
Justice is pure insanity! I went shopping there for my niece and it was crazy! You’re looking cute in your outfits 🙂
I’m so glad your What I wore Wednesdays is back!! I love them.
Have a great Saturday!
