This week I stood in my closet and tried not to wear a cardigan. I probably wasted valuable time and still ended up wearing a couple few of my beloved faves. I did try. I promise.
And to make matters worse this arrived via email:
Clearly Lands End is reading my blog and looking for me to be their spokesperson. What is a girl to do?
Here is what I wore this week, cardigans and all:
Left: I love a vintage t-shirt with this grey boyfriend cardigan. Plus, my Hoosiers are #1 this week! Woot!
(Cardigan-ATL, T-shirt -IU Campus Store, Jeans – Lucky Brand Sophia Boot cut)
Middle: Mixing it up with a “Coat Sweater” – so not a cardigan.
(Sweater – H&M, Coral 3/4 t-shirt – ATL, Awesome belt and Jeans – American Eagle)
Right: I borrowed my daughter’s cardigan – yes, I did that.
(Cardigan – Old Navy, White Blouse – ATL, Jeans – American Eagle, Necklace – Mercy House)

In other news, a new hair cut and a pair of cute ballet flats from ATL can really make a girl feel brand new!
And in the words of my sweet friend, cardigan on!
xo,
Stacey
(like this post, you will love)
Ha! Got those emails from Lands End & immediately thought of you. I think the title was “I love cardigans” or “Cardigans are awesome”. 😉 also…Go Hoosiers!!!!
Woot! Hoosiers and Cardigans! {hugs girl!}
Love the haircut!! So. Very. Cute. You look great in cardigans…so wear them all the time. Hope you enjoyed your ATL shopping trip, sorry I didn’t get to reply to the tweet!
I think of you ever time I see my shoes! Blessings sweet friend!
I concur that a sweater coat is SO not a cardigan. Also, after your post last week, I noticed that I too enjoy layers (and by layers I mean cardigans … it can be our new code word!).
xo, my sweet friend!
I can rock a coat sweater – only problem is it is way too hot here most of the times. But I do love them because they have more “coverage” 🙂
So I am like the opposite and over the years have gradually added cardigans. I LOVE the way they look on other people but always felt like I didn’t “wear” them well. However, your vintage tee with the gray boyfriend cardi is SO up my style alley! #Love
You know I have my faves – the boyfriend style which is longer is super easy to wear. Love it with a scarf too! I also really like a 3/4 length sleeve for summer!
You are too cute girl.
LOVE your outfits friend! I esp. love your casual first one! Too cute!
Here’s what I wore:

I love the red cardi with the necklace. I’m right there with you on the cardi train. They’ve been a staple of mine for over 10 years now. Recently I’ve been switching it up with a comfy blazer too. Is there anything better than an Ann Taylor Loft top, cardi, and flats?
Love love love the black coat/cardi! I bought a tan one this year and wear it every chance I get.
I so agree with you about vintage T with cardi! Cozy and fashionable. You look great in yours!
Alright, I have to say…I’ve been reading your WIWW posts for a while now and finally must tell you how thankful I am to see someone else with style similar to mine. I LOVE cardigans and never see anyone wearing them anymore. I just believe they’re a classic must-have (at least for those of us who appreciate them so much)! Love your boyfriend cardi with vitage T, especially as I too, am fond of more “coverage”. 🙂
Always inspired and blessed by you, my friend.
And, by the way, love your new haircut. Beautiful!
Right there with ya on the Lands’ End catalog! And did you see the Clara Closed Toe Espadrilles? Oh, baby…
So seriously, since starting to show with this second baby (WAY earlier than with the first), I think I’ve worn a cardigan pretty much every day. Don’t know why, but it feels like it just is helpful in the awkward first showings of a bump.
Cardigan on!
