It is time to come back to gratitude in this space on Mondays. It hasn’t felt the same here since I stopped recording gifts. I have missed the simplicity of remembering, celebrating, and list making. So today, on a super normal January 20, 2014, I’m starting a new list. Since I’ve completed two already, we’ll start this list with 2,000.
2000. New boots
2001. Art lessons
2002. Fashion school for my fashion girl
2003. Shopping day {suggested by my husband. bless him}
2004. Friends you can text for advice while shopping.
2005. “The Lord will fight for you, and you have only to be silent.” Exodus 14:14
2006. The Scripture Typer App helping me memorize God’s Word
2007. Songs only a 4 year old would sing
2008. Safe travels
2009. Friends who stop by with pizza dates with your kids
2010. Old books which are really dear friends.
2011. The prayers of the saints.
2012. Husband who dreams with and for me.
2013. Compel Training
2014. A co-laborer
2015. Gentle reminders of His promise to do BEYOND what I could ask for or imagine
2016. The best cookie I’ve ever eaten in my life
2017. Trader Joes chocolate covered almonds
2018. The Arsley Town signing
2019. Dinner with a sweet sister

2021. A cup of tea
Care to join me in counting another 1,000 or 10,000 gifts?
xo,
Stacey
Ah. Arsley Town. You’ll be forever remembered in our hearts 😉
We are neighbors over at The Farm today… counting gifts right alongside Ann.
Ah – I love your list! Art Lessons? FUN.. and shopping dates suggested by hubby – I did that this weekend too! And I will resist the urge to ask for the best cookie ever recipe! Well – sort of! I had my own version of that over Christmas when I made Wht Chocolate Ginger Oatmeal cookies… OH MY!
