[callout]Thanks so much for joining me for Day 1 of my new blog home! I thought today it would be fun to tell you What I Wore for my photo shoot! [/callout]
I was not sure what to wear for this photo shoot. I was so close to running out and buying something new. But, I decided I needed to use what I had in my closet. Plus, I figured it would feel more like me if it was something I had worn before.
Cardigan: Loft (Newish a birthday gift from my mom) Similar and ON Sale today!
Chambray Shirt: Loft (I got this last January and wear it tons) (similar)
Necklace: Origami Owl (Inside it says “hope” and has a little clear stone floating around)
Jeans: Lucky Brand Sophia Boot Cut
Leather Cuff: Farmgirl Paints (brass tag that says ‘hope’)
I am really loving the way they turned out. A friend of mine mentioned yesterday how fitting it was I had a cardigan on and I have to agree. FYI: when you sit basically in a corn field there are a million tiny bugs flying around. My girls call them *fairies* but I’m telling you they are not. Shh…just don’t tell them.
Have a great day!
xo,
Stacey
Stacey, I love the new blog design! I’m a LOFT addict as well and somewhat recovering cardigan addict (even though by “recovering” I mean sometimes I wear a comfy blazer instead). The photos are fantastic, and I love the corn field in the background.
I have seen blazers made out of sweatshirt material and thought they look dreamy! Thanks Kim for your sweet words!
Ok, I love this. 🙂 Your new space is beautiful, and the word that’s in your necklace? Goodness, it made me tear up…God just keeps reminding me of the Hope we have in Him. Congratulations on your beautiful, *new*, online home!
Thanks so much Mel. That hope? Oh it just keeps flowing like a river! So glad you came by today!
How cute! Bugs are fairies. Love the outfit. It’s perfect. And cardigans are always appropriate.
