Hey friends! Can you believe it is Wednesday? They just keep coming don’t they? What I Wore, in case you don’t know, is a challenge I love from Lindsey at The Pleated Poppy. The heart behind it is to get up, get dressed in something other than yoga pants, and take a picture for accountability. I’m a mom of girls and I want them to know that even though you are more than what you wear, it matters to care about what you wear. I don’t shop high end or anything. Most of what have you will find is from Loft, Target, and sometimes Stitch Fix. It isn’t always fancy either. But, it is fun!
Here is what I wore this week!
See not fancy right?
Left: T-Shirt (Mercy House Kenya), Shorts (Loft), Shoes (Target), Belt (American Eagle), Leather Cuff (Farm Girl Paints), Bracelets (Freeset), Necklace (Lisa Leonard it says “Hope”).
Center: Cardigan (Old Navy), Tank (Loft), Shorts (Loft), Shoes (Target), Necklace (Incourage – it says “Together”)
Right: Tunic (Stitch Fix), Jeans (Loft), Shoes (Toms), Necklace (Origami Owl), Bracelet (Every Day Icing)
These are my mommy runs errands and goes to the store 5 times in one week clothes. Except for the one on the far right. This was for church and even though it was 90 some degrees outside I loved this outfit. I don’t always feel comfortable in my white jeans, but I think the longer shirt helped!
OH, and next week I’m going to need your help figuring out what to wear at the Declare Conference. I’m speaking and have no idea what my favorite Texans are wearing these days. Also, it is hot down there, so what to wear?
Have a great day!
xo,
Stacey
Love all of these everyday looks! My favorite is the 2nd one with the polka dot top!

Thanks Jill! I love a cardigan with shorts these days! Dresses it up a bit and I can take it off if I get too hot!
Love seeing your outfits. Want to pick your brain about how I can do this. Want to encourage women they can still look awesome in their 50s and have fun with fashion without fixating on it.
Contact me and we can talk fashion for Declare!
I love how you do your hair different in each pic. You inspire me. Xoxo
I have a couple of people for you to follow! Cyndi Spivey has a great blog for women 40+ . Also, Edie from Life in Grace has this blog post too which is great called “Tips for Dressing over 40″. Golden! And yes let’s chat it up at Declare with coffee on the Cracker Barrel porch!
Would love to chat. Thanks for the links. I’ve seen Edi’s but not the other. Xoxo
