Hey friends! Next week I make my way to Dallas, Tx for the Declare Blogging Conference. It is going to be a weekend filled with great encouragement and great women who are chasing after Jesus in this online world! I’m taking you with me by the way through all my social media feeds! I hope you don’t mind!
Today, the Declare community is having a 4×4 link up. Aren’t you so glad? Here are 16 things you really need to know about me. The low down. The skinny. The 411.
4 Things About Me:
- I love.love.love. God’s Word. A couple of Β summers ago I read the whole book in 90 days. It rocked my world.
- I have been married to Mike for 20 years. It is true, were babies when we got hitched. We met on a missions project in 1991!
- I have an all of a kind family except for my awesome husband.
- I absolutely love to sing.
4 Endearing Quirks:
- I kinda like cardigans.
- I drink at least as many cups of coffee as I have kids. Each day.
- I break into song frequently. (see #4 above)
- I am LOUD.
4 Things About my Writing/Blogging:
- I started blogging because my husband encouraged me to.
- My first blog was 29 Lincoln Avenue and also the address of the home I grew up in.
- I adore bloggers. 4-ever
- I co-wrote a book with Brooke 3 times over.
4 of My Favorite Things:
- What I Wore Wednesday!
- Big coffee cups you can get your hands around.
- Popcorn and Dark Chocolate M&M’s.
- Connecting with other like minded women and talking about Jesus, books, clothes, and drinking coffee! Is there anything better?

P.S. See you soon Declare friends!
Nice to meet you! That’s awesome that you read the Bible in 90 days!
Love this!
But uh-oh. We part ways with the big coffee cups. They stress me OUT. I like the appropriate sized coffee mug (with plenty of refills).
And thanks for leading the bible in 90 days a few summers ago. Rocked my world too.
Do not be afraid of the “Friends” sized coffee cup Karin! It is just less trips to the kitchen!
Stacey, can’t wait to meet you next week!!! Kim Stewart
Hey Stacy!
I loved your list! I look forward to this weekend so much and I have a red canvas made esp. for you! π
You are awesome! Thank you Emily! I will treasure it!
I think we’ve met before but can’t wait to talk more and definitely share a huge cup of joe! π
I love the title of your first blog — very catchy and makes me wish I had found back when. π What I Wore Wednesday sounds like something I need to check out; I’m fashion-impaired and can use some guidance. π
I love reading about you and feel like I already know you well through reading your writing and our few brief blog conference meetings. Excited to spend time with you at Declare and get to know you better! Love, Kristin
It was fun to read about you, but I enjoyed reading you “What Am I Going to Wear at Declare” too – what did you decide? Boots are heavy in your suitcase…if you are bringing them, you’d better wear them! I like all the outfits – but I like the last one with no shoes on. Looks cute! I love the denim jacket with the long skirt…I may copy that. I still need to plan my outfits. At one point Declare seemed sooooo far away…
Excellent point about the boots! I can’t believe next week at this time we will be there!
Loving your list, Stacey. Especially the “read God’s Word in 90 days!” That is amazing and something I would love to accomplish one day (maybe when the baby is a little bigger and I have more time on my hands) π
I love tea as much as you love coffee (as you already read over at my place) – but when I do drink coffee I have to agree with you on the “cup you can get your hands around.”
And I also have to say, “29 Lincoln Avenue” has been one of my favorite blog titles for quite some time. I wish I could be that creative to come up with a title. But my childhood residence of 1022 Robinhood doesn’t sound nearly as nice.
Looking so forward to meeting you next week. Safe travels.
Love your site…One day I will have a clue on how to make one as creative π I will be following the conference from home here in Michigan and look forward to reading your posts.
Love reading about you Stacey! And wow reading the bible in 90 days, that is awesome! I have been obsessed with His word lately too and love the revelation and fruit that comes with that. Hope to meet you next week!
I love big cups of coffee, too! I’m thinking I may have to find a Texas-sized mug to bring back to Oregon with me!
Can’t wait to meet you at Declare!
Stacey,
I get to see you again soon.
I too began blogging because of my husbands encouragement. He even surprised me by setting up my blog probably because I never would have. I enjoy good coffee.
It was fun visiting your blog and learning a bit about you.
Blessings,
Cherie

But this time it will be so much warmer! Love that our husbands knew this was for us. We have great men!
So fun getting to know you here. I can’t imagine a house with 4 girls. I have 3 boys and 1 sweet girl. Crazy family of 6 who is loud, fun, and messy all wrapped up in one. I too love cardigans. In fact I just raided my mom’s closet to see if she had more colors for me to take to Declare. If I remember correctly we both have a love for The Loft too.
I might have been in Loft today snagging a necklace for 1/2 off the sale price! Oh yes, that was me! See you and your cardi’s soon!
I am right there with you on cups of coffee you can wrap your hands around. If only they remained warm longer and the coffee lasted longer. How many of my conversations would have lasted hours longer?
Welcome to Dallas (well Irving but you know it’s a metroplex). See you in a few days.

Coffee, chocolate & cardigans..there are so many reasons we’re meant to be friends π
Stacey, I’m with you girl about talking with women about Jesus and coffee. Oh and the popcorn, dark chocolate m&ms-that sounds delicious. Someday I’ll have to try it! Looking forward to meeting you at Declare.
