Happy October 1!
Are you ready for 31 Days of what God wants you to know?
The idea for this series came from The Nester and her other 31 Day Blogging friends. I’m so glad they invited us to join them this year! The inspiration for my topic came from a quote within a quote, featuring the words of C.S. Lewis and Ann Voskamp:
“How God thinks of us is not only more important, but infinitely more important” (C.S. Lewis) Years of Christian discipleship, Bible study, churchgoing had been about me thinking about God; practicing eucharisteo {thanksgiving} was the very first I had really considered at length what God thought of me — this ridiculous and relentlessly pursuing love, so bold. Everywhere, everything, Love! — Ann Voskamp, 1000 Gifts, page 205.
Are you tired of doing?
Do you think you need to impress God?
Have you ever felt, small and insignificant?
What would it feel like to let God paint His promises across your heart?
Well, this is your invitation, to curl up in your favorite chair, grab a pumpkin spiced latte, and join me for a month of listening to God ‘s thoughts about you. His heart for you is bigger than anything you can imagine. In fact, we are only going to slip our tiny little toes into the sea of all He wants you to know.
……….
My prayer for you today is simple:
Receive it.
Swim in it.
Begin to believe it.
If you are joining me for 31 days of What God Wants You to Know, would you kindly leave a comment? I’d love to pray for you by name! While you are at it, would you take a moment and pray for the sister girlfriend that leaves a comment before you?
{The Nester is hosting a link up today of all the 31 day girls. You can read all about it by clicking, here.}
Stacey,
I will be reading! And I’m also joining in on the challenge myself. Looking forward to seeing what you have to share.

Stacey, I’m in. Your journey sounds exactly fitted for my soul right now. And I am sure it will be used by the Lord to influence my 31 Days of Mentoring Training series posts.
Lord, I pray for you to give Stacey your wisdom, strength, and encouragement to lead us through this journey. Thank you for the opportunity, God, to join in!
And, Lord, I pray also for Barbie and ask for you to provide her with all the wisdom need for teaching the joy of abiding in you.
By His Grace,

I am joining in with 31 Days of Lessons from the Women of the Bible. These are amazing women we can all learn from. I am loving your 31-Day theme, because I am going through a season of wonderment, meaning I have this feeling inside like a quiver that God is close to revealing his plan to me. I know it is just around the corner, so your theme speaks right to me! Look forward to the next 30 days!
Stacey, this sounds awesome! Looking forward to reading along and soaking it up. Praying for you and Melissa!
‘Receive it. Swim in it. Begin to believe it.’ Okay! Excited about all the new things I’m going to take in this month. Can’t wait to see ‘what God wants me to know’! Yay!! (how ironic that the ‘sister’ before my comment that I’m to pray for is…another Susan. 😉 (how cool is that…?!)
What a great series and a wonderful idea to pray for the sister girlfriend who commented before each of us!

Love this! And..your new picture too, I always read in my reader, so I haven’t seen that yet! Love it!
Thanks Danielle! You just made my husbands day because he is the one who took the photo!
Stacey, I’m really glad I found your blog. I feel like I’ve seen you around blogworld (others comments) and twitter for awhile but somehow never got on here until now. I love your first post, it’s exactly what I needed to hear this morning. Sometimes we (I) can get so caught up in our everythings and just miss receiving what we need to from God. Thanks!
Don’t you love that, when you stop by a blog and think, “I know her….from somewhere?” I’m so glad you made your way here today in the middle of all those lovely link ups! Whew! There are a lot! I pray that you will be able to receive what God wants to speak into your heart this month, either when you stop by here, another place, or as you right on your series! It sounds intriguing!

Thank you so much! My friend Melissa made it! She is crazy talented!
Loving this 31 days series! Catching up on the ones I missed this week. Thank you!
You know, I think that if we really remembered what you have pointed out, that what’s important is what God thinks of us, it would truly change who we are and how we live our lives. Seeking to please the one who knows us from the inside out, well, that’s the only way to truly live, isn’t it?
I just today joined you guys in this 31 days of what God wants you to know and am eager to read. My name is Sonia and I am going through really tough times right now in my marriage. I feel as though the Lord needed me to become closer to Him and once I do and understand what His plan is my husband shall return and our marriage will be abundantly blessed. Please pray that the Lord enlightens him and returns him to me. I know the love that we have for each other and I know that it will all work itself out. I just need to have faith. Thank you for your prayers – Sonia
I happened upon this through links of links of links of links. I don’t believe in coincidences so when I say I happened upon your blog really I mean God guided me here. And he even gave me the very same name that he gave you. My soul let out a subtle sign just now. Lovely.
Isaiah 43:1 But now thus says the Lord, he who created you, O Jacob,
he who formed you, O Israel:
“ Fear not, for I have redeemed you;
I have called you by name, you are mine.
So very nice to meet you Stacey! And I love that verse! Thanks for sharing it.
I’m looking forward to this “31 days series.” I did Tracie’s “31 Days to Faith” the month of December. I found your blog b/c you left a comment on day 30 of Tracie’s blog, titled Finished. God directed me right to your site and into my next 31 days. Thank you and all the other women who make things like this possible.
Oh I love Tracie and her series was amazing! I pray that God encourages your heart here! I am also turning this series into an Ebook which will hopefully be finished by the time you are through it! If you subscribe to the blog via email – you will not miss the announcement when it is complete. It will be free for Subscribers! Blessings!
I will definitely be reading this.
Looking forward to feeling what it is that God wants me to know!
I am just now starting to follow you. Thank you for the reminder of what God wants me to know. I am praying for my daughter, Bethany, to remember this also.
