In a little over one week, the new edition of “Hope for the Weary Mom” will be available through Amazon for your Kindle reader and also in print through Create Space. I’m excited and nervous and need to read it all over again because I am still, after all this time a weary mom who is learning to lean into Jesus and His grace every day. This is my story (and Brooke’s) but it is still very much a journey.
I was wondering, if maybe you might be in need of a little “Hope” on Friday, too? I am giving you a sneak peek at one of my favorite chapters. It is called “When You Come to the End of Yourself.” It is for moms and anyone else who needs a bit of hope to tuck in their heart.

I pray you have a hope filled Friday.

Stacey,
Thank you for sharing this chapter today. It was a blessing for my spirit. The songs you mention are two of my favorite hymns. I realized I need to memorize them in their entirety and do it with my children so they will see Jesus as their hope when they are weary too. Life has been a struggle for me -to try and swim above the murky waters of self-pity, bitterness, and despair, but God has been faithful, and has recently thrown me a life preserver into the depths. I am on my way back up, praise Him! I pray your book will bless many and cause them to seek out and lean on the strong arm of our Good Shepherd.
Blessings,
Terri S
Thank you Terri! Praying for you right now. May these songs dig deep in your heart today! He sees you. He will lift you up!
Hey there Stacey! Girl, I love your book. It wasn’t what I thought it was going to be at all. For some reason, I thought it was going to be a ‘mommies” book, but it’s a woman’s book. I love it. It has already started me to thinking. I love when books keep me thinking after I’ve put them down.
Keep up the good work! God’s work!
Angela I am so glad you said this. The book is about when you Hope finds you in the midst of your weariness. Everyone is weary in some way. Our stories simply come from motherhood. But you know, “Hope” is for every girl who needs to be reminded that God meets her in her mess!
Thank you for sharing this chapter. These are many of the things about motherhood that have been in my heart the last few day. God’s grace is so good. He is so faithful even in the midst of our weariness.
Thanks Jess, so glad you were encouraged!
Stacey, I’ve been searching for a book for a possible book study for our moms who have a child with special needs. I think the title for your new book will strike a cord for many of them. Thanks for all you do.
Thanks Michael. Let me know if Brooke and I can help you out in any way!
