I have a friend named Holley who never fails to inspire me to live out the life God has created me for. She has the gift of encouragement and when I’m chatting with her, I sometimes believe I can do impossible things. Her passion is to share the same message with every girl she meets.

Holley is a blogger, writer, dreamer, cupcake eater, and cheerleader. Recently, she had an idea to gather a few girls to talk about dreams placed in our hearts by a great big God and challenge each other to Live.Them.Out. It ย is awesome and terrifying all at the same time. These girls are taking it to heart. They are putting on their brave girl shoes and walking the talk. It is a beautiful thing.

So, I find myself sitting back and people watching them frequently. I listen to their chatter. I watch them take steps of faith and I thoroughly enjoy the way the others surround each one with a pep talk and a celebratory high five when it is all said and done. The excitement is contagious.

It is in that moment I realize one of the keys to living out a God sized dream: you have to be wiling to say it out loud to someone, and you need to let that someone cheer you on. Is it terrifying? Yes. Will everyone you tell cheer you on? No, probably not. But, God sized dreams are meant to soar, not sit in secret. They are meant to point to a God who is bigger than we are. They are meant to bring Him glory and you joy in living it out.

Do you have a God sized dream? Have you wanted desperately to share it but are afraid of what others may think? Can I call ย you out of the hidden places of your heart right now with this encouragement?

If you want to take a small step in a big way toward your God sized dream, walk with others who are dreamers. Share you heart with them. Keep doing this until you find a few dream girls who will do all that they can do to help you live it out. Let them cheer for you. Let them pray for you. And you do the same for them.

I’d love to cheer you on friend. Care to share your dreams or fears right here? I promise to do the best herkie jump I can and grab my dusty megaphone down from the closet shelf. This former cheerleader would love to listen to your heart. I will do my best not to be all Mary-Katherine Gallagher on you. But, I may just call you a superstar

Ready, ok?
