All God makes is good. Can it be that, that which seems to oppose the will of God actually is used of Him to accomplish the will of God? That which seems evil only seems so because of perspective, the way the eyes see the shadows. Above the clouds, light never stops shining.

Counting 1,000 Gifts…
As cancer knocks on our family’s door one more time, I am praying for eyes to see as He sees. Ann has reminded me in her beautifully penned book, One Thousand Gifts, that “Eucharisto (thanksgivng) always precedes the miracle.” So today, I’m giving thanks for a journey we would not have asked for, but one that has brought gifts that must be included in my list of 1,000.
#611 Learning to live every moment.
#612 Friends who bring bread that is more than food.
#613 Doctors who are God’s hands.
#614 How it brings us together.
#615 His Word provides courage.
#616 Relationships that draw closer.
#617 Unexpected friends who join us for the journey.
#618 Faith dropped as an anchor of the soul that grows.
#619 Knowing that God is in control.
#620 This hard Eucharisto that teaches so much about His grace.
#621 Others who are watching, some we know, others we don’t, who witness the journey and are captivated by this walk of faith and the One who holds us all in His hands.
Hey! Not sure exactly who or what….., but praying for your family through what seems like a tough time!!!….His grace is totally sufficient, at the exact moment it is needed!
Thanks Danielle so much for your prayers. My dad begins radiation therapy this week. We have been on this journey for 2 years. But God has been so faithful. I have wanted to write a Multitude Monday post on this for a while now. He finally gave me the words to do it.
Stacey, I am so very sorry you are traveling this path. I will pray for your family and for your father – I will pray that he is healed in the way God wants Him to be healed, that your sweet family will walk in peace, unity, and love, and that you will know that He is there with you at all times.
Blessings to you, my cream and crimson friend…
