Do you know about Stitch Fix? Well if you don’t, you soon will. What is it?
Stitch Fix is a personal styling service. We get your style and size preferences, then send you a package of stylish goodies to try on at home. No two Fixes are alike. Each one is hand–picked just for you. – from their website
I would like to call it love in a box. Here is how it works:
- Sign up here.
- Fill out a style profile.
- Schedule a “fix”.
- Pay $20 for the styling service.
- Receive your “fix”.
- Lock yourself in your room and try on the awesome items chosen especially for you.
- Decide what to keep.
- Send back the rest in a pre-paid envelope within 3 days.
- Pay for what you keep.
I enjoyed the entire process even though I did not keep everything. Jennifer my personal stylist wrote the sweetest note and even commented on my cardigans (she read my blog). She nailed my style spot-on. The only ‘problem’ I had was sizing. Stitch-fix rightly sent me all the same sized items, but 2 of 4 clothing pieces did not fit. I know sizes are never perfectly standard. So, I’m fine with it.
One feature I really love is this:
They give you ideas on what to wear with your new item! They thought of everything! So what item did I keep?
I kept the Daniel Rainn teal pin tuck blouse. I can’t wait to wear it with my grey jacket. I paired it hear with my American Eagle scarf and skinnies. It is perfect for spring and summer in Florida!
So do you Stitch Fix? The good news is the $20 charge for each fix can be applied to whatever items you keep. And, if you refer a friend they give you style credit. Which is why if you sign up here, I’ll get a little help on my next fix!
Happy Wednesday!

Stacey

what a neat idea, I would use this for sure. I have 3 girls 5 and under and shopping, trying on clothes, or just getting out of the house is a real challenge hehe
Renee – we speak the same language! I have 4 girls and shopping WITH them is always an event! I think you would love Stitch Fix!
What are the prices like?
Stitch Fix states their prices are on average $75 per item. You can pick the low end of the price range (which I did) and the item I kept was under that amount. The jacket (I loved! But it was too small) was just over this – but jackets generally are more expensive and last a long time.
cute!

Love the color and style of the top. And StitchFix is just the best! I blogged two pieces I got from them today, too!
Fun – on my way to see what goodies they hooked you up with!
I love the blouse-super cute! I can’t wait to get my first fix, scheduled for March 12. I have a wedding that weekend and need a dress so, praying my stylist is inspired and everything fits! 😉
Oh that sounds like fun!!! I love a pretty dress!
