So I know I was MIA last week with What I Wore, but I have good reason. I was here…
And mostly I was wearing what I’m sure was a mom bathing suit. But,I won’t show you any of those pictures for obvious reasons. We had a lovely time. I could stare at this scene for hours. And so I did.
Here are a couple of things I wore before I sat and stared in those blue chairs and after I came home.
Let’s talk about shorts and my lack thereof. I have one pair as pictured above. I kind of think at this stage in my life they need to cover more than my back end which seems to be the current trend. Really, short shorts are not too pretty pretty on me.

I found shorts that go to my knees from Banana Republic. I also have a pair from the Gap. I am sure you have an outlet mall close to where you live to check out some deals. I did get my BR shorts on sale one weekend. They are comfortable and sturdy (important for moms) Be blessed:)

I have a shorts crisis too, among others. I have two pairs of hand-me-down, knee length cargo shorts that I despise, but they fit, so you know, I wear them. Hate them though.
I look bad in regular shorts and my thighs are wide for side, so they are especially difficult to find. I just usually give up and wear a skirt. It’s so much easier and I’m lazy like that.

We’re going to Spain on Weds and I realized I didn’t have any shorts (to be fair it is rarely that hot here) so I’ve just had to run out and get some at Forever21 of all places! Hope you had a great trip–you look great!
