About two weeks ago I sent this picture and a text to a friend and said:
“Can I wear leggings at 42?”
She said yes as long as my back side (ahem) was covered.
I bought them.
Something I’ve prayed over, waited on, and cried over became a real live moment in my life.
I wore my new leggings.
I was tremendously blessed to take part in writers training with Compel.
I learned book writing is not blog writing.
I also did at least 1,000 things that all add up to being wife, mom, teacher and taxi driver:
We went back to the big tree.
I’m clinging to this verse:
And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we have seen his glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth.
And this is life.
This is my lately.
I’ve got my eyes on Him. Asking Him what beyond faithfulness looks like in my every day. Because He has been beyond good…with grace upon grace.
P.S. Tomorrow, look for a super sweet deal for my new book. You can get the news first through my newsletter, or hang out around here and find out a little later.
