On Friday I took my girls to Epcot and walked “around the world’ on the most amazingly beautiful day. We had the best time. Early in the afternoon we noticed the sky coming alive with a message and the park abuzz with excitement. Standing in the happiest place on earth, people were snapping pictures with their camera phones (myself included) and I was thinking, “Yes, it is really that simple. “U + God = Smile.” Look up and you will see that nothing on this earth can really bring true joy. “Me+anything else does not = smile” for anymore than a moment. The world passes away. But “u + God = forever” and His joy is everlasting.
So we count joy here, from His hand on blue sky days, with girls smiling and, ice cream dripping down. We count because each gift is a reminder that our Father delights in giving us good things. Each and every gift points to the +God part. They are all pointing to Him.
