Welcome Friends! I’m so glad you are here! Today I have the honor to be a guest writer for Proverbs 31 Daily Devotionals. I’m sharing a story of how God met me in the middle of a grocery store aisle and whispered a sweet reminder that true hope does not disappoint. I would absolutely love it for you to join me over there with your morning cup of coffee or afternoon cup of tea! Just click the image below to visit Proverbs 31.
If you are visiting from Proverbs 31, thank you so much for taking the time to stop by. It really does mean the world to me! You can learn a little bit more about me and see a picture of my family over on my about page. If you want to know more about my new book, Hope for the Weary Mom: Let God Meet You in the Mess, co-written with Brooke McGlothlin of The MOB (Mother of Boys) Society, you can click here.
*We have a free 5 day email devotional challenge you can sign up for called “Dear Weary Mom.” Sign up for it while you are over here!
Looking Forward,
Stacey
Imagine my delight when I opened my Proverbs 31 devotional email to see your beautiful picture! Plus it was a beautiful devotional. I love seeing how God has honored your commitment to sharing His word. May He continue to bless you in all that you do!
Thank you Alicia! So sweet of you to come on by today! What a blessing!
Hi Stacey! I just read your devotional Hope Does Not Disappoint and let me tell you, it was written for me! God was truly using you to talk to me. My husband and I, both life long residents of New Jersey, have been talking about moving to Tennessee and I often get fearful because I am afraid I will be lonely. Your devotional helped to remind me that God won’t disappoint and that he’ll be there for me where ever we move. So glad you wrote this!
Thanks!
Denise

Denise I’m so glad God used it to encourage your heart. Moving away from “home” can be hard. But God goes before you, with, and behind you. He hems you in. I pressed deep into him during this time in my life. Was I missing friends? Yes. But, my time with the Lord and my family was sweet. I walked closely to the Lord because I needed him every hour. Eventually he brought friends who are more like sisters into my life. But he truly filled int he gaps. Blessings and thanks for stopping by today!
