It’s back to school season.
Last week I took my daughter to Target and spent $785 on paper, pencils, and folders. JK. But it was a lot of money. And honestly, I didn’t mind too much. She is excited to start her sophomore year and I am exctied for her. I think she he is looking forward to more time with friends than she is early mornings and homework projects. But she is ready.
As much as she is physcially ready, I want her to be spiritually ready even moreso. And that’s where prayer comes into play.
Welcome to the Back to School Prayer Club for Moms of Teens.
As it turns out:
- Prayer is the way I can partner with God for her heart.
- Prayer helps me fight FOR my daughter (not against her).
- Prayer helps me feel purposeful, not powerful in my parenting.
- And more importantly—prayer helps me relaase my daughter to God and take joy as her mom.
My friend Brooke and I have created a Back to School Prayer Club just for you. She has one for Moms of Teen Boys and I have one for Moms of Teen Girls. If you have both? Join both. It’s free to join. All you need to to is sign up at the link below and pay attention to your email inbox. I’ll send you 7 prayers that go along with the 7 key areas in your teen tirl’s life. They are all taken from my book Praying for Teen Girls. Which if you like the Prayer Club you might want to get the book as well. You can find it wherever books are sold.
