Distractions can pull us in all directions at Christmastime. It’s hard to figure out how to celebrate the birth of Christ in a meaningful way when there are gifts to buy, cookies to bake, and events to add to the calendar.

But what if right now, we made a plan to be intentional about praying simple prayers everyday during the month of December to prepare our hearts in a meaningful way? What if each day you had a heartfelt story to read, Scriptures to read, and place to reflect on what this season means to you and your family?

You are invited to take a light-filled journey with me through Everyday Prayers for Christmas: The Light That Was, and Is, and Is to Come. Each day of this 31-day devotional features a prayer, place to journal, and a key passage of Scripture that will take you through the story of light from Genesis to Revelation.

Think of this as your time each day to be reminded that where God dwells there is light and hope. And the world can’t overcome it. Not at Christmas, nor any other day for that matter.

So how do you join?

First, purchase a copy of Everyday Prayers for Christmas wherever you buy books. Some of my favorite places are Amazon, Christian Book, Barnes and Nobel, and Whitaker House. (links are here)

Friend, I promise this will be just what your heart needs right now. The Light has come, let’s quietly move in the direction of the light and pray for the life He came to give us to shine brightly for all the world to see.

Let the light in,

Stacey
