You have probably heard it said, “God doesn’t make junk.” But, do you believe that you are made:
Wonderfully
&
Fearfully
These are the words penned by David, a man after God’s heart. In fact, he goes on to say, God took great detail in making you. He made you distinct and marvelous. You, walking around in your fuzzy slippers or wearing your favorite pair of red shoes – you inspire awe.
And while your at it, if you go back to the very beginning, when the world was new, you can read His opinion of all that He made on day 1:
God saw {all} that He had made, and behold, it was very good. (Genesis 1:31)
And the truth is – He is still making good things. Wonderful things. And yes, not junk.

From Psalm 139:14
I will give thanks to You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
Wonderful are Your works,
And my soul knows it very well.
Do you know it? Very well?
You are made fearfully and wonderfully.
That is what He said, anyway.
I love that we are fearfully and wonderfully made. Two words that are so significant. And it makes me wonder, if we are made fearfully, we should have no fear for He is with us. And if we are made wonderfully, we should be Thanksful everyday. These two words are a great motivator as we go about our day.
Yes it is a great motivator – especially on Monday to let those words fearfully and wonderfully made sink deep into our souls! Have a great day!

Yes, wonderfully made. We simply need to redefine wonderful according to the Lord instead of our own culturally, influenced definition.
This IS the way to start our every morning. Reminding ourselves who we are in His eyes, not in our mirror. And Maria, you are right it is a reminder to be thankful in everything.
Thank you for this beautiful reminder. I often get convicted when I get down on myself. I am reminded that when I do that I am letting God know that His creation, me, isn’t good. How that must grieve His heart. I am learning to accept myself as the beautiful woman He designed me to be.
I think it is Beth Moore who says, “He said it and I believe it!” Well – He said it! Let’s believe it together!
