Launch day for the new “Hope for the Weary Mom: Where God Meets You in Your Mess” is next Tuesday October 23. I am excited and nervous at the same time.  We have some fun things planned for next week and I hope that you will join the festivities:

Yesterday, I shared this at MODsquad blog:

“I did not want to be the girl to write the “Weary Mom” book. I really wanted to write something else—anything else. I wanted to write the book on being the mom who has it all together. I would have loved to write the book on how to eat your way through Europe as well” (read the rest of this post by clicking here).

Today, I will tell you that I am being tested on everything I wrote in this book. This is still very much a journey for me. I will be reading it right alongside you and crying. Somewhere along the way I became a crying girl. I think it is a good thing. Somewhere, a few of my sisters are smiling.

I also felt the urge to vlog again. I thought this news was just too big NOT to sit in the white chair and share my heart  (if you are reading this via email click over to the blog to watch the video).  No tears here, I promise.

I would also like to ask you, sweet friends to pray for this little book filled with God-sized hope. It is His message. We would love to see Hope spread in the most extraordinary way.  I was touched by a friend of mine named Angela who said:

“I thought this was a mom book. I was wrong.  This is a woman book.”

So even if you aren’t a mom, I think the message will speak to your heart. All of us are weary in some way. All of us need to be reminded where our Hope comes from. I know I do.

You are the best. Have I told you lately?  Well, it is true. Thanks for being awesome. Have a great weekend.

xoxo,

Stacey
