So, remember when I broke up with my skinny jeans? I felt really great about that decision all summer long. But then, fall happened. And boots happened. I started having doubts. A girl can doubt fashion decisions right? While I was wavering on whether to go back and undo my break up, I went shopping with my husband on Black Friday. I had a gift card to spend at the Lucky Brand store and I “accidentally” tried on a pair of Lolita Skinny Jeans {these are the exact words my 4 year old used last week about ice cream so I thought I would borrow them}.
Mike said buy them.
The sales guy assured me his mother who was older than me wears them (I died) and also this style was really a cross between a skinny jean and a straight cut.
I walked out without buying them.
But, later that week they went half price online with free shipping.
FREE SHIPPING was a sign.
I caved.
Shirt: Loft
Necklace: Dayspring (Redeemed Line)
Jeans: Lucky Brand (Lolita Skinny Jeans)
The boots are from my friend Angie. She gave them to me (note to self, buy Angie lots of Starbucks). I’m calling her my Fairy Boot Mother because they fit like the glass slipper must have. This is significant because of my wide calf syndrome. Friends, they fit with room to spare!!!! All I have left to say is…
And they lived happily ever after.
The end.

Ummm…I may need to borrow those boots
I know you understand my wide calf issue!
Cute! I love them. One of my best pairs of jeans ever was Lucky brand. I just need another one of those “half off, free shipping” deals and I can get my own without feeling too guilty about the price.
I get their email blast and they had some great sales right before Christmas. I also heard Costco sometimes has their jeans! Macy’s too!
What a beautiful reunion! They look fabulous on you!!!
Love them, have them and I’m way older than you! Lucky Jeans fit me the best (it’s the nice bit of stretch in the waste band that sold me) and yes, you can totally doubt your fashion decisions. It’s a woman’s prerogative to change her mind, right? Love you!
Okay, so every time I decide I am NOT going to do WIWW, I inevitably end up here and see some cute little outfit you are rocking and you just inspire me. I’m not sure if I should thank you, because I really hate taking pictures of myself! haha!
Andrea – Have you read this post? This is what I learned doing these posts and I think you will be encouraged!
Looks GREAT!!! Enjoy!
I need those jeans. And the boots. Can we just be twins? Gah..the wide calf issue impacts so many shoe choices..and skinny jean choices, now that I think of it 😉
Well, I think you look great… AND I like your bed in the background there 🙂
