Today I wanted to fill you in on some 29lincolnavenue odds and ends that I’ve been meaning to share with you for a while now.

1. Have you heard about the 29 Lincoln Notebook?  This is an account I also keep on Tumblr. Tumblr is a blogging platform that easily integrates with my iPhone.  I use this account to record life on the go {usually fun pictures of my adorable children} or to write down and bookmark things I do not want to forget.  What I love about Tumblr is I can make a quick post and send it directly to Facebook and Twitter. The Notebook looks like this:

(here I am talking about The Nester again)

2. Tommy Nelson. If you scroll down to the footer area of the blog, you will notice a new button that looks like this:

TommyMommy

No, I am not making a reference to the movie Tommy Boy or announcing the birth of my son Tommy!  But I am  excited to share with you a 29lincolnavenue partnership with Tommy Nelson, the children’s publishing division of Thomas Nelson.  In a nutshell, this means that you get the chance to hear about their great products for children.  And, the chance to win products through giveaways right here.  For me, I have the chance to work with a great company that values teaching even the littlest ones about Jesus!  Plus, my kids get to read some great books as my official Tommy Nelson review club!  So it is a Win-Win for you and me!  Next week, I will begin a series of posts on the amazing new products by Max Lucado.  You will love what he is doing for the whole family!

3. Do you subscribe to 29lincolnavenue?  Do you know what that means?  I know that some of you are seasoned bloggers, but others of you might have no clue what I’m talking about.  When you subscribe you do one of two things: First, you have this blog emailed directly to you.  Each post I make, will be sent in an email to your gmail, hotmail, etc.  This is a great way for you to make sure you see each post. {Mom – this is perfect for you}.  Second, you can subscribe and have it put in your reader of choice.  If you have gmail, you have a google reader.  This reader puts all your favorite blogs {hint::pick this one} in one long list.  On Saturday morning, you can grab your coffee and scroll through all you reading material and catch up.  I actually do both.  I have some blogs that I put in various readers I use (Flock, Google,) and I have some tucked in my email box.  Here is a quick link to subscribe  (just click on the image below):
