Fresh Out of Amazing Survey

God has been working in my heart on this topic, and as you know I have been preparing a talk for an upcoming conference using this theme. What I haven’t mentioned is I also think this could possibly be the title of a book God has been birthing in my heart. {insert excited and scared face right here}.

I would love to make sure I hear from you on this subject. Would you mind, leaving a comment and telling me when was the last time you felt Fresh Out of Amazing? Also, if you were going to read a book or hear a talk on this subject what are 1-2 things you would love to hear? What would encourage your heart?

Thank you so much. I’m so grateful we are in this together!

xo,

Stacey

I’m fresh out of amazing right now, friend! It always seems to happen when I fall into too much busyness. I ebb and flow with my quiet time with God. And, it’s ALWAYS when I’m not in sync or communion with Him that I feel overwhelmed and frazzled. I’m not just talking about the days when I have a shorter quiet time or spend less (or no!) time in Scripture, sometimes my fresh-out-of-amazingess comes when I’m knee deep working on Bible based truths for Him! It’s those intimate soul filled with His presence moments that I seek to fill my amazing cup back up. How do you do that? 😉

Sabbath helps me. But a full day of cessation is nearly impossible for me, although I long for it! So, I *TRY* to see the Holy Spirit filled moments throughout my day. I call them Sabbath Moments, but they are hard. Because it usually requires me to STOP what I’m doing and spend time alone without an agenda with Jesus.

Will you pretty please write your book so I can learn from you?! Grateful we are on this journey together. And, I so wish I could be at Declare to hear your talk. Trusting the Spirit will fill you completely with His word and message. He likes to show up for you, friend. Mostly because of your AMAZING OBEDIENCE. Love you, K

Kristin – this is so true. I often feel this way when I am pouring out my life for the good – in Ministry! And also, Sabbath Moments – what a great idea. Because let’s face it, as a mom an entire day is hard.

Stacey, I don’t know that I have ever felt amazing. I pretty much feel average all of the time! It is not a fun place to be. It is hard when you are surrounded by people who are amazing and do amazing things.

I would love to hear more about walking out amazing even when you don’t feel amazing.

    Hope this helps a bit.

Karina – this is a good truth. We are harder on ourselves than we are on others. Thank you friend!

I find that when I compare myself to other moms,I feel fresh out of amazing because they all look like they have this “amazing” thing going on.

Would love to know how to accept and love my “amazing” self without comparing and second-guessing myself.

    Xx

Stacey, I think the time where I felt the most fresh out of amazing was when my husband and I were going through a rough season and God didn’t seem to make sense! But to be honest, I think I also feel it on a weekly basis when I listen to the lies of the enemy, and stop feeding myself with God’s word.
What would encourage me would be knowing it’s ok to be me! Knowing its ok to go through these periods and they won’t last forever. Tips and tricks to stay focused on the big picture.
    Kathy.
Ps…… can’t wait to read it!!

    Hi Stacey,
I think that the last time I felt this way is…..well….right now.
I know that we just came off of a heavy week soaked in ministry, my house leaves A LOT to be desired at this moment and hubby going to be gone for a couple of days…..throw into that all the norms….4 kids one with special needs, hubby’s intense job…….yep I’m fresh out! And though I still am in Gods word and living focused on God, I can still be fresh out!

So all that being said 2-3 things I’d want out of a conference and/or book :
    1. Encouraging words on despite the doing all the “right things” (ie being in Gods word, praying)……fresh out can still happen.
    2. Practical, simple ideas on how to still connect with your kids/spouse
    3. Practical simple ideas on how to ref-fuel during these times
