I received this challenge last Sunday at church. What followed, was one of the best messages I have heard on intimacy with God.
The response was immediate.
Hearts were torn wide open.
He invited us.
He moved.
And we are honored to be a part of it.
I’ve been deep heart searching ever since.

This is the best time of you ear to draw closer and let our hearts be cracked wide open! As we consider Him, and the sacrifice He made for us!

i spent many years stopping Him. i didn’t know it. i had an idol in place of Him; something i desired more, found myself in, that consumed me- my thoughts, time, passion.
He tenderly removed me from it.
and i realized i’d been cheating on Him.
not intimate with him, my Love. my Life.
and with that idol removed i missed Him. desperately.
Realized it was Him i had longed for all along.
Praise God that He is a jealous God. He says, “you are MY people,” and draws us into intimacy with Him.
Oh how i love Him.
