Yesterday, I wore two different earrings and no one noticed. I discovered this at 9:00PM. Yes, I did that.

Last week, I went to 8 different stores over 3 different days to find an appropriate Easter outfit for my teenage daughter. Guess where we discovered not one but 3 perfect outfits? Drumroll, please….LOFT! Oh how I love Loft. I was worried that she would think she was shopping at her ’41 year old mother’s favorite store’ because of course it is. I was also concerned that she would LOOK like she was shopping at her ’41 year old mother’s favorite store’.  I shared this with Rachel, a friend who happens to work at Loft and is now officially a super-hero in my book. She said, “Well, it is all in how you accessorize it. If you add bright colors and a fun hat, you can keep it fresh and young.” We ended up with a cute skirt, cardigan (of course), and neon colored tank. So cute. She was happy. I was happy. End of story.

Here is only one outfit I wore this week, because you know, I was at 8 different stores and all.

Ballet Flats: Loft (love that they mimic bowling shoes)

And…I now have a full length mirror which means I have to “pretend” like I wear shoes all day long. {smile}
