I’m sitting here on Wednesday drinking way too much coffee just trying to get warm. I know I tease about not getting to wear my boots much, but today it is about 20 degrees colder than our typical coldest day this time of year.  Our heat kicked on last night and for this Florida girl that is crazy. I completely admit my own inner “wimp” in this area. But friends, it is a crisp 41 degrees this morning. So pass the Snuggies over my way and tell me where to get a cheap pair of UGGS. I’m a bit out of my zone here!

But last week, well it was pretty awesome. Here are a few things I wore when I was not frozen.

stacey_thacker what I wore 111914

Left: Cardigan (Loft), T-shirt (Allume Conference), Jeans (Eddie Bauer), Shoes (Target), Headband (Ornaments for Orphans).

I know you all think homeschool moms wear denim jumpers every day, but this is a bit more my speed. The headband has been trying to make an appearance but this is the first time I felt like it worked without the whole “I’m wearing a headband” look. This is similar to my scarf issues. But all in all it is fun.

Center:  Hoodie (Evystree), Tank (Old Navy), Jeans (CAbi), Shoes (Loft)

This hoodie. I mean really, I would wear it every day if I could. Loving it.

Right:  Jacket (Loft), Tank (Nordstroms Rack), Jeans (Lucky), Boots (gift)

Sunday I put together outfit with my red cardigan and these same boots that I loved. But then I walked out of my room and noticed my 15 yo was dressed similarly. This is mom *no-no* when you have at teenager and so I marched right back and pulled this together. Which I ended up loving. But, the other outfit was way cute, too.

So, is it cold where  you are? I promise to stop whining by Sunday when the 80’s return to my neck of the woods. And I’ll be sweating in my boots and you will be snickering.

xo,

Stacey
