Oh my goodness ladies, I felt you were speaking right to me! My wi-fi has been down lately and I’ve putting in time during the dark hours, at Starbucks. Yesterday, realizing I’m the newest repeat customer hanging out with a laptop, the barista asked me “So what do you do, anyway?” I instantly got all hot and bothered and mumbled something like “Well, um…yeah, so I kind of, like…write.” You know what? I think that is the first time I’ve EVER actually said it. Stumbling and fumbling, I said it. Anyhow, your words were a huge encouragement to me this morning! Thank you for helping fan the flame for me and so many others. I’m blessed to have found you. And by the way, I’m a writer! 😉

Oh my goodness…talk about divine appointments. This exact thing I have been struggling with, really since I started my blog back in 2011, but really intensely struggling with in the past few months.
I think I had the misconception that in order to “earn” the title of “writer” I needed to have a real, honest to goodness, touch it, smell it, book published. So, I’ve felt like the fact that I have a blog was like, “Oh, well, you BLOG but you’re not really a WRITER. You’re a BLOGGER.”
I also have had a dream in my heart for the past 11+ years that I’ve been fearful to declare to the world for fear that it would never get done…or that it would get done and it would stink. Ha! But lately, the Lord seems to be putting more and more things in my path to affirm that, yes, this dream matters. This dream is valid. And He will equip me to fulfill it. That dream is to write a novel and have it published traditionally.

SO excited that WriteitGirl is back!! It was the push I needed a few years ago and I’ve become stagnant again! I’ve tried Blab with no success so I’m glad I can watch the replay!!
