She loved on me with coffee. She spoke words that I have not had the confidence to say myself. She was just what I thought she would be. She sought me out. She grabbed my hand and spoke grace. She was lovely. She reminded me of my passion. She pulled back the veil and showed me her heart. She sat with me on the bed and talked life over pizza. She is so real, you feel like you’ve known her your whole life. She inspires a village. She told me I was Already Amazing. She and I could talk for hours. She is a gypsy who always welcomes you with a hug. She said the sweetest thing. She breathed life into my mama heart. She is my sister.

yes! exactly. I felt this about so many women there. Love that you encouraged me as we washed our hands in the bathroom…it was a string of constant, spiritual encounters with godly women. thankful for you in that string!!

I know this is a personal list of women who have encouraged YOU, but in posting this you have reminded all of us how important the little encouragements are. We don’t need to write a book or get behind a microphone….it is the smile in passing, the hug the compliment….how powerful we are, and how very RELEVANT. (Apparently even in the restroom! LOL! LOVE IT!)
Heather that is it! I was thinking, “How can sum it up? What this conference is about?” And to me – it is every girl – loving God and each other. Just as Joy and Ann and Amy and so many others said, “It is a sisterhood!”
And yes, even in the bathroom. Especially in the bathroom!

Oh my word girl, you were a keynote speaker right in the middle of the conference…you were pretty busy! I have no idea how you did it with such grace while jet lagged! I only wish I could have served you in some way. But you were amazing, and my heart was so blessed by your transparency! Just beautiful seeing you inRL! And now, we have a whole year to build our friendship before our M&M date at Relevant 12.
